I'm a solutions-oriented freelance journalist. I'm interested in almost everything, and focus particularly issues around aging and health, as well as environmental adaptation. My writing has appeared in publications including Reasons To Be Cheerful, The Guardian, Next Avenue, Travel + Leisure, Archaeology Magazine, National Geographic, Yes!, and many, many others. I spent five years at VTDigger, where I worked as a Statehouse reporter, Washington, D.C. correspondent and weekend editor. My work there included daily political coverage and investigative reporting on the prison health system and migrant justice. I'm a skilled researcher, fact checker and copy editor.
