Ellie Hughes (she/her) grew up in rural Mexico and transplanted to Portland as a teenager. After taking a rambling career path punctuated by seasons of international travel, she landed in the digital marketing space. Passionate about thoughtfully challenging a culture of excess consumerism, Ellie spent several years as a sustainable fashion blogger and now works as a freelance writer, marketing consultant, and creative producer alongside her husband. They live in Portland with their daughter (Ro) and corgi (Pip).
