I have been a faculty member in the College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts (CARTA) at Florida International University (FIU) since 2015 and am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at FIU’s Institute of Environment. My research focuses on developing innovative coastal infrastructure through advanced 3D-printing technology and sustainable material systems. The aim is to create modular ecological designs that mitigate shoreline erosion, enhance coastal resilience, and actively promote marine biodiversity by attracting and supporting marine wildlife.
