Tiago da Mota e Silva is a journalist and doctor in Communication and Semiotics, currently a researcher at the National Institute of Research in the Amazon.

He is dedicated both professionally and academically to understanding and delving into the issues surrounding communication and sustainability.

His contributions in the INPA involves developing a plan of assessment of the socio-environmental impact of research on the aquatic environments of Amazonia, in addition to a strategic plan of communication and socialization of the information generated here.

All this effort is made in the sense of cooperating in mitigation and adaptation to the effects of the world's climate here in the region.

Additionally, he has extensive experience in editorial and communication projects and also in the classroom, as a professor in Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations and Radio and TV courses.
